    What up doe, I’m Brandon—DJ Taco. I love music. Before I ever stepped behind the decks, it was already a big part of my life. Growing up in Detroit, surrounded by music and hearing all kinds of sounds, I learned to love the way a song can change the feeling in a room.

    Being from Motown means something to me. There’s soul in this city. There’s history, creativity, and people who put their whole heart into what they do. Hearing music from different styles and generations helped shape my ear and opened my mind to what a mix could be.

    I took those influences and started creating my own unique sound—a little of where I’m from, a little of what I love, and my own flavor in between. I love finding the connection between songs and watching people connect through them.

    That’s what I want you to feel when I play. A memory. A little surprise. A reason to sing, dance, or stay for one more song. From my city, with love.
